"It all started with a work trip to NYC where the jet lag kicked in hard and I went to soul cycle with a few of our team. Before this and starting with Ru I hadn’t exercised properly in over ten years.
I was nervous about getting back into fitness, but Ru instantly made me feel welcome and capable. His classes strike the perfect balance of being challenging yet achievable, and that’s what has kept me coming back week after week.
I now do one HIIT class with Ru every week at home on video or in the park and often add a spin class or two. The HIIT sessions are tough but I feel pumped for the day afterwards. I leave every class feeling stronger and proud of the progress I’ve made.
Ru has also encouraged me to think more about what I eat, without ever making me feel restricted. That sense of accountability has been key in helping me stay consistent as he asks for photos of every meal! As a result, I’ve lost 5kg in five months and, most importantly, I’ve kept it off. Even though I love the beers.

RU WELLBEING was more than just nutritional advice, it has completely remapped my relationship with food.
I was introduced to recipes and foods I never experienced before and it became clear that the food I'd been consuming believing they were nutritional were not fuelling me in the way my body needed.
I lost 10lbs in 8 weeks. Toned up and revamped my mindset. Ru was more than nutrition he was motivation. He was accountability. He was a true support system and just a fantastic person, that devised a plan that worked with me and my busy life.

I was always a skinny guy and my goal was always to put on size. I've stayed at 62kg forever, not knowing what to do! But what Ru taught me changed everything:
How to do meal prep, how to train effectively, how to mix my training with the things I love. i.e. weights and calisthenics, and most importantly what food to eat!
Ru stayed patient with me although my mind goes everywhere, and that's why we built such a good bond.
I am now 72kg, feel much stronger and still look healthy! Will definitely be working with Ru again in the future.
